Currently rumours are that Martin and Dr. Luke are currently or soon-to-be writing songs for Britney Spears' fifth studio album scheduled to be released in 2007.
Absolutely. Actually "Baby one more time" was intended to be recorded by the girl-band TLC, but luckily Britney's managment heard it!
I also heard that 5ive wanted to have that song too, but I am not sure if it's correct!
I wondered anyway, why there wasn't at least ONE song on the "In the Zone" album.
Dr. Luke Gottwald recently spoke to Us Weekly Magazine about working with Britney on her new album. Dr. Luke is the hot-shot record producer behind some of the biggest pop hits of the last few years including Kelly Clarkson's hit songs "Since U Been Gone" and "Behind These Hazel Eyes," as well as writing and producing for Avril Lavigne, Pink, and the Backstreet Boys.
Dr. Luke talked about working with Britney, and says the track he produced is "a feel good, upbeat song." The song is called, "All the Way."
Britney is planning the biggest comeback in entertainment history, and we are relying on her fans to lead the way!
Spread the word - the best is yet to come...
Sincerely,
~Britney & the online team"

On the heels of an MTV VMA awards sweep, where Britney walked away with three Moonmen awards for "Video of the Year," "Best Female" and "Best Pop Video" for "Piece of Me," Jive Records is preparing her latest album, Circus, a follow-up to her critically well received album, Blackout. For her latest effort, Britney has enlisted a stellar group of established producers/writers that include Dr. Luke (who wrote and produced the album's title track, "Circus"), Danja, Max Martin, Bloodshy & Avant and Guy Sigsworth (Madonna, Alanis Morissette, Bjork).
Dunno if it's true, but hopefully.
Vanessa Hudgens is not good I think and I wouln't like that same style with Brit. I thought about it again actually and I think that since Dr Luke is involved, we may get his typical songs with the guitars, such as Katy Perry's Hot and cold or Paris Hilton's Nothing in this world. I actually think it would fit Brit's voice and the songs don't sound so much rock in the end. Katy and Paris don't have strong voices (like Brit).I agree with everything you said, but I kinda like "Set It Off" and "Identified"lol, anyways I hope Dr.Luke and Max invent something exclusive for Britney only, something we have not heard before, that'll be perfect, I'm sure Max won't do a normal-as-usual track for her, because this the most anticipated track after a whole 7 years of waiting for us.
I think that anyways the album will be fabulous, it will be a mix of many different styles. It's just a combination of the greatest songwriters around and all of those guys have a common point: they wrote past #1 hits for Brit!
- Danja has the Timbaland flavor and wrote Gimme More
- Guy S. wrote Everytime
- Bloodshy and Avant are also huge and gave Toxic to Brit
- Dr Luke is everywhere now
- Max is GOD! ;D
If Brit is not back and doesn't have success with such a golden team around her, I think there's a real problem!
remember before blackout release, there were many producers said they are working on the album, and after blackout release the majority were danja, bloodshy and avant only.
so maybe it will happen with this album too, there will be a certain number of producers but not all of them.
let's hope max martin will be on it with many songs .
i thought about that too feelgoodlies, it's very interesting,
-sabine- did you find these info on jive's official site? because i don't find it there
by the way, any body knows who are outsyders ? what songs they have worked on before?

they are news :o , they havent written a song before:

As BTI reported last month, Junkie XL was working on 3 tracks for Britney's new album 'Circus' but we can now report that neither of those songs have made the final cut.
In a press release Junkie XL's manager says:
'Junkie XL had been asked to write 3 songs for Britney Spears' new album. Those 3 tracks were offered to her but Britney decided not to use any of the tracks'
Credit: BTI
Maybe more room for Max
it seems the final choice of the producers is the ones who confirmed from jive press release and on jive's official site , because there are big names like Rodeny''darkchild'' jerkins, JR Rotem and sean garret that are NOT there and if they had chosen their songs they would have mentioned them in the official news.
so the songs will be by max martin,dr luke, danja, bloodshy and avant, guy sigsworth
britney always does one or two ballads maximum on the album so this guy sigsworth,
3 by dnaja,3 by bloodshy and avant, 4 or 5 by max martin and dr luke, womanizer by outsyders
total 13 songs :P

Ahmed what you said is really logical, sounds perfect! :D
Now let's hope you can see the future... hehe
When do you guys think we'll have the tracklisting of the album?
Womanizer sounds great!
do we really know that the song Circus is by Max? or is it just Dr Luke?

Along with the Outsyders, collaborators on the album include Keri Hilson, Sean Garrett, Rodney Jerkins, Lil Jon, Nate "Danjahandz" Hills (who helmed "Gimme More") and Dr. Luke (who wrote and produced the album's title track), Guy Sigsworth, Bloodshy & Avant (who produced past hits "Toxic" and the big VMA winner "Piece of Me") and Max Martin (who wrote "... Baby One More Time" and "Oops! ... I Did It Again").
I was thinking that Max and Dr Luke might be separate on this album.
That's a good question! I really wonder if Dr Luke and Max will be on the same songs or will produce separately. I actually bet more for the first solution, what about you?

i want max to do the songs with Rami instead of Dr luke, max martin and rami songs are better than his songs with Dr luke.

With the New Max Martin soundhis productions with Dr luke is better let me give an example
Marion Raven Here I am (Album)
"End of Me" Marion Raven, Max Martin, Rami
"Here I Am" Marion Raven, Max Martin, Rami
"Break You" Max Martin, Dr. Luke
"Little By Little" Marion Raven, Max Martin, Rami, Peter Svensson
"Six Feet Under" Marion Raven, Max Martin, Rami
"Gotta Be Kidding" Marion Raven, Max Martin, Rami, Camela Leivert
"In Spite Of Me" Marion Raven, Max Martin, Rami, Alexandra Talomaa
What is the Best Song out of these tracks ?? Should I say it it's BREAK YA , though all the other tracks Rami is involved
Another example
Backstreet Boys (Never Gone)
"Just Want You to Know" Max Martin, Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald
"I Still..." Max Martin, Rami
"Climbing the Walls" Max Martin, Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald
"Siberia" Max Martin, Alexandra Talomaa, Rami
And Again what is the best Song CLIMBING THE WALLS , and also all other tracks Rami is involed , though I don't mind I still but , climbing the walls is better song , My point is in the new sound Max is creating better songs with Dr luke for sure , but back in the great POP days Max martin/Rami is great combination , I hope they produce together a song for britney this would be intresting to listen to , As I'm sure the Rock sound wont fit britney .
Yes good idea! Britney!!...Reportedly it will be premiered on radios on Sep 29th, the digital release said to be on October the 7th.
So I was hoping to hear Womanizer this morning when I got up and ....... NOTHING! :( Some say the song could only be released on radio on October 7th!! No way!!

maybe they will postpone it a bit till she shoot a music video.Usually after the song being released to the digital stores, but with Britney we always expect the unexpected.
by the way, anybody has information about the video for ''womanizer''?, when she start shooting?
Jive Records have confirmed, via Britney's official web site, that the world premiere of "Womanizer" has been delayed, due to it having 'finishing touches' added, and that as soon as it's ready, it will be posted on the site. The official press release for "Circus" last week said that the track was 'slated' to be premiered today worldwide.
Britney Spears spoke to "Rolling Stone" as part of their fall music preview, about her new CD, "Circus," saying, "I wanted to experiment with producers I haven't worked with much before, like The Underdogs, who have a Timbaland kind of sound. I came into the studio because I had some free time. But once I started working, I was like, 'This is cool!' It just happened." According to the report, over the past four months, Britney has recorded over 30 tracks for the album, including the lead single, "Womanizer," and the 'thicky layered bump-and-grind' "Circus," produced by Dr. Luke.
yes britney = rumors. we gotta be careful.People will always crticise songs no matter how they sound, even if Britney got back to the studio to add those "finish touches" or whatever they still will crticise, I personally can judge a song from a snippet, specially when I hear its course, and from the course I gues Wonamizer is totally great, I hope they don't change anything, let us enjoy pop again rather than the crap they do >:(
however, i wonder why the song is delayed. maybe it's linked to the negative reactions some britney fans had online after the 40 sec leak. + the Fow News review that was really bad:
"Britney Spears’s single, Womanizer, was leaked to radio stations on Friday. It debuts somewhere today. What’s the difference? Womanizer is quite awful, retread disco, with an annoying refrain and no discernible melody or hook. Actually, get the hook. Spears is not much of a singer. For her to grab any kind of music audience, she should try and remake novelty songs or find some of her own. But more of this repetitive dance junk isn’t fruitful…"
I wonder how you can judge a song by listening to a 40 sec crappy radio rip. ::)
I really don't Understand American People , They Said about Blackout it's AMAZING whil;e in fact it's horrible album Definitly her worst album to date , I'm saying this from being a fan of her , And now from 40 sec clip the song sounds awsome actually , yeah it's V. LQ , but I can tell a good song when I hear one , and they're saying it's Aweful ::)
This said to be official single cover:

That doesn't even look like Britney, way too airbrushed, it sounds like a computer game character.

Tonnes of disappointment! This album is gonna be even weaker than Blackout. I always loved Brit's songs for the great tunes before, but tunes in these new songs (from Blackout and this one) are sooooooo weak, it's very sad :(
No no no! I don't expect Britney to make pop-music of the beginning of the century, but it's possible to create fashion sound and not to forget about melody. I just discovered 2 songs from Lady Gaga's album - Just Dance and Poker Face. It's the type of Britney new sound but there are much more work on tune, there are a lot of really good tunes on Rihanna's singles as well, though I'm not her fan. Well, that's why I love swedish music - swedes never forget about melody :) I really hope there will be minimum of r'n'b songwriters on this album, there are always loads of rumours about songwriters on new albums of big stars so I don't know if we'll finally get more than one Maratone's track :-\Tonnes of disappointment! This album is gonna be even weaker than Blackout. I always loved Brit's songs for the great tunes before, but tunes in these new songs (from Blackout and this one) are sooooooo weak, it's very sad :(it's too early to judge the album, i LOVE Britney's old songs, but if you expect her to do songs like the old ones, then sorry it's wrong expectation because:
1-the people who created this music in the old songs (max martin and cheiron producers) are not doing this style anymore, they changed their style of music and lyrics.
2-these old songs will not work in America today, the market which SADLY the most important measure of the success, and she need a successful hit and successful album.
i'm sure the more max martin songs on this album, the better this album will be, i also have hopes in guy sigsworth songs.
A rep from Jive Records has revealed song-writer / producer Max Martin's latest track he worked on for Britney's upcoming album "Circus" may be the best song he's ever done in his career.
Max Martin is responsible for crafting some of Britney's biggest pop songs, including "Baby One More Time," "Crazy," "Oops!... I Did It Again," "Lucky," "Stronger," "Overprotected" and "I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman."
"Circus," Britney's 6th studio album, is scheduled for a December 2nd release.

Great news about Max , I can't believe we'll have another song from britney by MAX , and also I'm feeling that Max and Dr luke have worked on different songs on the album
I doubt....if the song is this masterpiece why isn't the first single choice?it'll be probably be a second single

I am sure that Circus will be a single, a second one or a third, but will be a single, although it should have been the 1st it would've easily gone to # 1, since it's Max's luckiest year since 99/2000.
Hey Guys , I guess Circus is produced by Dr Luke as been confirmed by Jive itself and they didn't mention Max on the song , but they said Max Worked on the album , that mean he got nothin' to do with circus (that's what I got from Jive confirmation)As usual, Dr.Luke is the producer and Max is the writer, so of course the song belongs to him, as for Max I'm sure he did a whole song or two for Britney.
wow, a tour! yes, Larry has really turned her around, I love Larry.
EXCLUSIVE "Womanizer" Music Video Details!
Britney has come a long way from her bizarre late-night debacles and promiscuous relationships to a current state of grace that has fans and followers rooting for her once again. "Womanizer," Britney's first single off her upcoming album "Circus," was released to radio late last week, with a digital release scheduled for October 7th. The music video, shot by director Joseph Kahn ("Stronger," "Toxic"), is scheduled for release next Friday, October 10th on ABC's 20/20 according to ABCnews.com. And now BreatheHeavy.com can reveal exclusive details of THE music video you have been anxiously waiting for these last few years. And I promise: no stripper poles, no white fur jackets, and definitely no cartoons. Britney's back, b***h, and she wants you to know whether you're ready for it or not.
Warning! Spoilers below! Ah, who are you kidding... you can't resist.
The "Womanizer" music video takes place at the Elevate Lounge in the Takami Sushi & Robata Restaurant located in downtown Los Angeles. One scene shows Britney as a sexed-up waitres, wearing black boots, tight-black leather pants with an oversized black belt, a black leather vest with a white button-up cutoff vest underneath, and drenched in silver jewelry around her neck and wrists. Britney's left arm is tatted with red roses. The word "Womanizer" is written inside a broken heart on her upper arm and written again in black cursive a bit lower. Surrounded by dancers in similar outfits, Britney walks through the restaurant carrying a silver platter with a glass of brandy on top. To complete her Gothic-waitress look, Britney rocks a shoulder-length, dark auburn-colored wig and black nail polish.
Another scene shows a playful and flirty Britney playing the role of a sexy secretary (a-la "How I Met Your Mother"), dressed in a black & white striped top, a knee-length leather skirt, black-rimmed spectacles and a short, black bob wig. Britney, wearing bright-red lipstick for the scene, plays with the love-interest in the video (wearing a black business suit and tie) - even photocopying his face in the office as she smiles to the camera.
But it's the sex-kitten Britney in a revealing, grey satin robe, peeping black bra, and pink belly-button ring. Her signature tasseled, long blond hair shows fans just why they fell in love with the pop-star nearly 10 years ago. Here, Britney is cooking breakfast for her pursuer after a night of passion (yes, she gives him a lap-dance in bed), and brings the meal to her newly-found lover who happens to be wearing only white boxer-briefs at the table while the word "womanizer" flashes in the background. But what does Britney do after being scantily-clad and provocative towards the young man? Blows him a kiss, remembering that innocent, yet not-so-innocent, demure she displayed in her early days in pigtails and a school-girl uniform.
Britney is later seen wearing the man's black business-jacket and tie, along with a black hat and sunglasses inside a car. Perhaps a quick escape after using the man she adamantly labels a womanizer for a little fun of her own?
Britney proves herself in this video as a relevant music icon. It's sexy, it's wild, it's empowering, but more importantly it's that legendary pop video we've been waiting for since "Toxic."
You say she's crazy? She's got your crazy, and I'm loving it.
thanks :), Britney always does great videos.

Womanizer was released today on US iTunes[7th of October], it's currently at # 29, plus guys I heard she will also be performing on Good Morning America this December, so we have 2 performances now this one and(The X Factor one ;)).
It has a big chance in debuting at # 1, the airplays are quite high and iTunes is getting higher and higher, with the video premiere she will definitely debut at least in top 2, I wish she released Max song, I don't want this to get to # 1, I want Max's song to get to # 1, to let the world know that Britney needs Max :D
ABC confirmed on today's edition of "Good Morning America," whilst advertising the video premiere this Friday on "20/20," that Britney will perform "Womanizer" on the show 'sometime in December' - ABC are also currently airing an advertisement for the video premiere, featuring snippets of the video, which you can see here. It's also been reported that she will perform on "Star Academy" in France, whilst she is on her trip to Europe, to promote "Circus."
Britney Spears 'Sets The Record Straight' In Documentary on MTV
In the special, Britney reflects on hardships of the past few years: 'What the hell was I thinking?'
By Jocelyn Vena
Possibly more than anyone on Earth, Britney Spears' life is constantly documented by the media, which voraciously reports on the singer's every step and misstep. But what's it like to be in her shoes?
With her new album, Circus, set for release in just a few weeks, the singer is ready to show the world her side of the story.
Britney has joined forces with MTV for a 90-minute documentary about her return to the pop-music spotlight. Tentatively titled "For the Record," the special is set to air on November 30 at 10 p.m. on MTV, two days before Circus is released on December 2 (the singer's 27th birthday).
"So much has gone on over the last couple of years and there's a lot that people don't know about me that I want them to know," Spears told MTV News in a statement about the special. "I wanted to make this film because I started to feel like I wasn't being seen in the light that I wanted to be seen in. This is an opportunity to set the record straight and talk about what I've been through and where I'm headed."
The documentary combines personal stories with behind-the-scenes footage of her comeback. Cameras follow her to the recording studio, to rehearsals, to press tours, to the video shoot for her latest single, "Womanizer," and even to her hometown in Louisiana. Backstage footage from her recent triumphant appearance at the Video Music Awards is also featured.
Through it all, we hear Britney talking about the hardships that led up to this comeback. "I've been through a lot, and there's a lot people don't know," she says in the film. "Sometimes it can get lonely 'cause you don't open the gate. I'm stuck in this place, and I just cope every day."
Britney also owns up to the mistakes the world has watched her make, and offers some telling insight into how she feels about it all now. "I sit there and I look back," she says, before asking rhetorically: "I'm a smart person, what the hell was I thinking?"
"For the Record" airs Sunday, November 30 at 10 p.m. ET on MTV.
I'm not sure this song will be an hit...... :'(This song will be an hit ;D

Britney Shooting New Music Video?!
Rumor has it Britney is already shooting a new music video for Circus!
Bryan, Britney's brother, was seen onset today with Britney's backup dancers. The dancers were dressed in very Circus-like costumes, which included a few of Britney's old backup dancers from the "Dream Within A Dream" tour & "The Onyx Hotel" tour, as well as some of the newer ones including head-choreographer Andre Fuentes.
Sounds like the second single is "Circus," with rumored director Francis Lawrence ("I'm A Slave 4 U")!
I don't jknow what to feel about the tracklist , but sounds logic to me , anyone remember the leaked video britney dancing with backup dancer which rumored to be her VMA performance , I think the song called Mannequin and from the sound of it it's produced by darkchild

i don't think darkchild is on the album , maybe she recorded a song with him but it will not appear on the album.
i feel the producers that are mentioned in the press release and Circus promo packet are the ones whose songs will be on the album, darkchild suppose to be a famous name, so they would have mentioned him if he has songs on the album, but i think he hasn't.
Bews guys. On cheiron official site there is only one max song on britney new album.
And it's not a fake but it's a real thing.

Yes I agree with you but I hope it's still fake. Only 2 Max song, damn! Impossible!
Feelgoodlies thanks for the pics! :D
By the way, I forgot to ask, where is that rumored tracklisting from? Is the source reliable? I'll wait till it's posted on Britney's official site since it's uploaded daily now...
Eww that would be terrible! I dare to hope that Wikipedia will keep its reputation to be bullshit on new stuff :P
Anyways, we know Max is like a human beast but do you think he can be involved in many high potential songs with Brit considering the amount of great work he's produced this year? I mean: Lesley, Katy, Pink... Do you think he had time for more than 2 Britney songs?
There would also be only 2 Luke songs if we trust this article, damn that has to be fake!! >:(
While we have yet to hear Circus in its entirety, those who have report that the album is Britney at her finest -- closer to her pop beginnings with Swedish song maestro Max Martin, but still edgy where it needs to be.
I don't know why everyone on here was so sure that Circus was a Max track!?! Maybe because Dr Luke was mentioned and people made assumptions. It has never been said anywhere that Max worked on Circus (the song, not album) and we now see that it is produced by Dr Luke & Benny Blanco so it's looking likley that it's not his track. To be fair we have no gaurantee that Max will definitely appear on the album as so many people have been mentioned as working with Britney and a number have confirmed that their tracks were not chosen to be used. I'm sure that will not be the case for Max but I really think people have higher expectations. As much as Max is my favourite producer ever I'd be surprised to see more than one song by him on the album if I'm honest. Don't get me wrong I would personally welcome an album with only Max producing but I just don't think he was that involved for some reason - plus his name was wuite far down the list of contributors in press about the album.

If that's true, then that album will suck as much as Blackout and it will be a huge disappointement! :( :( :( Max and Britney, it was maybe too good to be true, as I always said ! pfff Brit's management are too dumb anyways. i'm so pissed.Agree with you in every single words......
I prefer waiting for any news from JIVE or her official website. I'm sorry but I don't trust non official britney info anymore, it's very easy to assume or make things up...
If that's true, then that album will suck as much as Blackout and it will be a huge disappointement! :( :( :(If that's true I don't think it can suck as much as Blackout as it has only 2 songs by Danja and no Pharrell Williams here. Though I agree it's all rumors and we'll get thousands of different tracklists before release.
its is all very confuse , max can be involved in two songs , ''circus'' as writter and ''if u seek amy'' as producer .
check the news in the cheiron.com webside .
If U Seek Amy is a Max Martin song:
http://www.warnerchappell.com/wcm_2/song_search/song_detail/songview_2.jsp?esongId=891171400
Circus & Shattered Glass (http://www.warnerchappell.com/wcm_2/song_search/song_detail/songview_2.jsp?esongId=891175100) are Dr. Luke songs.
That other producer listing is obviously incorrect therefore there might be more MM songs on the album.
That backcover is probably fake too. There is a lot of misinformation surrounding this project - which is building hype - be careful to jump on the bandwagon so quickly.
We should be grateful that Max is even mentioned on this album.
It’s a dream come true for me to see his name on there.
I don’t care if its only the one song.
The fact that he is back working with britney is making me the happiest person in the world.
And I’m kinda disappointed with people here that are saying this album is going to suck.
How can you say that about something you haven’t even heard yet?
Britney says it’s a more personal album with ballads etc.
I don’t believe its going to be another blackout, it will be so much better than blackout.
And I can’t wait to hear it and the next single circus =D
The only thing that I’m not happy about is that “radar” is the bonus track….
I was expecting “one more time” to be on there.
But I guess it will probably be used for touring or something.
Womanizer is down at number 5 this week on billboard hot 100.
Are you happy sabine? :D
yeah number 1 but only for a week....... ;)Thnks for the massive downloads!
Womanizer is down at number 5 this week on billboard hot 100.
Are you happy sabine? :D
it's great that it was #1 and i'm happy for that, no matter how many weeks. So What is WAYS more successful than Womanizer, it tooped the US charts for one week, but its chart performance is literally great, while Christina didn't promote the song and didn't shoot a video for it until lately, so this explains why it dropped fast.
she did better than other singers like xtina's ''keep getting better'' which quickly dropped out of the chart, pink's ''so what'' stayed only for one week at #1.
i don't know why everybody here say that there is one max song on the album, we don't know the credits for the songs yet, so we have to wait and see.
I think there are 3 max songs. Circus,If U seek Amy(max always use U in his song)andBlur.
I bet on this 3 title. ;)
Yes Alex I think you're right, bravo!!!LOOOOOOOOL, he also used sexual hints in U and Ur Hand and Boring, as for Britney song that's actually really explicit to be sung about, I just don't like this kind of messages!
I also read about the fuck me meaning... Max seems to be more and more vulgar in the songs... He kisses girls with Katy, he beats husbands with Pink and now F***s with Britney! LMFAO ::)

http://es.youtube.com/watch?v=pq8SgUf10yg&feature=related
new britney's song cheiron style, maybe a bonus track on new album.
Anyways it was Dr Luke or Danja and Bloodshy! Dr Luke is fine for me, he can do very very good Max-ish songs! Happy there's only one Bloodshy, they may be Swedish but I don't like their style!
I'm sure Max and Dr Luke songs are gonna be catchy as hell, I love what they did to Vanessa Hudgens, pretty catchy, I am so excited for the Britney tracks, people on other forums are kinda sad because Lady GaGa's song didn't make it and there is little Danja in there, while we are here having a ball and celebrating :D
Oh and I'm so so so so waiting for the new version of Out From Under Emilia De Poret covered which is "Now Or Never" gosh that girl has to release the album >:(

agree with you about bloodshy and avant .I'm sure Max and Dr Luke songs are gonna be catchy as hell, I love what they did to Vanessa Hudgens, pretty catchy, I am so excited for the Britney tracks, people on other forums are kinda sad because Lady GaGa's song didn't make it and there is little Danja in there, while we are here having a ball and celebrating :D

britney's fans are making me sick,( not Britney fans of our forum of course ), i used to talk to fans on Britney's fan sites about music, and they almost have different taste from ours, they want her to stick with bloodshy and avant, danaja and other low quality producers , they are disappointed because they stupidly told the rumors and believed it, it was obvious that the producers mentioned in the press release and on jive's official site are the ones whose songs will be on the album, that's why i didn't follow the news about this album from the start which were disappointing and fake, i waited till i get official good news .
Yes I agree 100%. I even saw many Britney fans confessing they don't listen to the first albums anywome. Some even say they're ashamed of the childish songs she did at the beginning. People saying that Gimme More, Piece of Me or Me Against the Music are good songs sure have really different tastes. For me, the real Britney, her real style, is not In the Zone and Blackout...take her 3 first albums and (hope so) the new one! ;)Exactly, what I hate guys is that people consider themselves Britney fans because they liked her from Blackout and In The Zone those sexually explict albums, and when you ask them about her earlier stuff, they actually don't know anything, except BOMT and OIDIA, and like you said Sabine, they think these songs aren't mature enough, oh well look at me I'm 23 and hell I loooooove this music bit**es!, and I'm happy they are disappointed, it's kinda in their face lol, they should feel what we felt when we read about ITZ and Blackout producers :D.
hey guys, i'm new to the board. i was so excited about the britney/max news that i just had to join! :D
but yeah, i think all of britney's fans appreciate max a lot. their work together is the reason we all fell in love with her (well that and her charm on and off stage). i just think everyone's moved on because we're all 10 years older than we were back then and her new music is sleeker and edgier.
the reason people aren't so keen on them working together right now is because max has been doing that rock/pop stuff with BSB, pink, and kelly and nobody really wants britney to go in that direction...
anyway, i really think "if u seek amy" is going to be one of their best songs ever. :D
yeah, i'm a cheiron and britney fan. :Dhey guys, i'm new to the board. i was so excited about the britney/max news that i just had to join! :D

welcome to the forums !! are you a cheiron and a britney fan? it is great see britney fans that love the pop songs of britney in the beginning , I'm a britney fan too but I prefer a pop rock britney that a britney with electro songs without melodies as blackout , anyway I'm sure max wont drive britney to rock , I trust on max ,, he will do one of the ebst britney songs sure . ;D

i personally feel like their best work is WITH britney (and BSB) but maybe i'm a little biased 8)
really, the only thing i'm nervous about is her sounding like katy perry or pink. i hope max keeps her pop roots and doesn't make her sound like everyone else on the radio right now. i'm also really excited about dr luke, but again, i hope he doesn't make her sound like avril. lol.
i wonder if max really said that or not !?
and i wonder if the song really means F.U.C.K. Me lol
if = Fi wonder if max really said that or not !?
and i wonder if the song really means F.U.C.K. Me lol
i don't think the song means that
if = F , u = u , seek = C and K , (Amy) doesn't mean (me) the A is missing here .
however if i'm right , who is Amy ?
anyway i hate if it really means an explicit word :'( .
Kill The Lights isn't as great as everybody is making it, so Blackout-ish and Timbalandish, and Danja isn't a great producer starstruck52, and his songs aren't great ;)
Bring on Max and Dr.Luke tracks please!

Gimme More is great song, I agree.haha. good, i'm glad you can at least admit that... because that's one of my favorite britney songs lol. but yeah, as far as everything else goes, i can see why you don't like him because he doesn't have those swedish qualities... BUT he's good at the type of music he does and i think he brings out some of the best in britney.
why do you guys seem to hate danja so much?
him and britney make great electro/urban pop together
gimme more, break the ice, and (now) kill the lights; all great songs.

Over To You Now is a song written by Alexander Kronlund,Robyn and Guy Sigsworth in 2005 and was a japanese bonus track.
Gimme more and slave 4 you are worst britney's songs.lol, no.
The Sun.co.uk reviews "if you seek amy" after a sneak preview
The title If You Seek Amy, seems innocuous enough, but it has an entirely different meaning.
It goes: "All the boys and all the girls want to if you seek Amy." That clearly doesn't make much sense.
What you hear, though, is the quite shocking statement: "All the boys and all the girls want to fuck me."
It's a great track. A stomping robo pop number with clattering kettle drums and Brit being quite frank about the opinion she holds of herself.
hmmm interesting.
can't wait to hear it.
i hated blackout, but the songs we have heard from Circus like '' womanizer'' and ''kill the lights'' are amazing. Not at all Ahmed, if Womanizer and Kill The Lights are amazing, then why do you hate Blackout, it's pretty much the same songs on it.

And Gimme More isn't anywhere near the "amazement" some of you are describing it to be neither lyrically nor musically, we do love Britney, but we don't really have to LOVE everything she does like die-hard fans, I bet some of them would love her even if she did JAZZ or TECHNO, let's move on, I'm so waiting for the Dr.Luke and Max songs, hoping they won't be as Robot-ish as Blackout songs!
If you go back and read the Katy Perry topic you will find that I was the first person to DISS the lyrics and was so surprised that Max actually wrote this, but I have to admit that the song is really funny lyrically and musically is so damn catchy, I love it seriously, Btw I hate what Max did to Lesly Roy and Kelis, oh gosh so damn annoying, and Max is my 2nd favourite Cheiron guy, I love Kristian and everybody knows it here lol, so I am not biased.i hated blackout, but the songs we have heard from Circus like '' womanizer'' and ''kill the lights'' are amazing. Not at all Ahmed, if Womanizer and Kill The Lights are amazing, then why do you hate Blackout, it's pretty much the same songs on it.

i don't say that i like everything britney does, i hated i'm a slave 4 u, boys, about half of ''in the zone'' songs, and ''blackout'', since you mentioned that, i have to say it should be the same with max too, he is the best producer in the world and most talented, but he is human not God, being a fan of him doesn't mean we should love everything he does, for example ''i kissed a girl'' i swear if this song was written by any other songwriter in this world, people here would have despised it and said it's boring , low quality and nasty.
i like ''kill the lights'' and ''womanizer'' because i feel Britney's impressive secret magical spirit and energy which were absent in ''blackout'', i didn't find anything to like in ''blackout''.
''kill the lights'' has good lyrics discussing britney's war with the media in a cool and fun way, the production is good, i like the background music or bass or whatever they call it on the chorus, there is variety in the melody on the song between the chorus and verses, not boring melody and boring production with nasty lyrics like ''gimme more''.
i'm not a fan of danja songs, i was disappointed to hear he worked on the album, but if he does a good song , then i have to admit .
as Linda said everyone here is a bit biased.
Kill The Lights is no different to Piece Of Me lyrically it addresses the same subject, musically it has that "Gimme More" beat at the beginning if you notice, and vocally is "Robot-ish" like every Blackout song, so no different from Danja I guess, I'm not saying the song is bad, the thing is I didn't say OH GOSH a new style from Britney!actually, if you even listened to the songs, you'd realize that POM has britney accepting the fact that she's a tabloid target and putting it out there in a cute little way... KTL on the other hand, has britney confronting the media and aggressively taking the bull by the horns.

and britney's voice has been "robotic" since BOMT. that's her trademark and it's what sets her music apart from all them other hoes. her voice was really processed on blackout, and she seemed a bit disconnected, so i can see why people may not like that... but womanizer and KTL is all britney. her presence is definitely back.Never heard like (Radar, Freakshow or Piece Of Me) in Britney's first three albums, her voice might've been pimped but was never "robot-ised" like these song I mentioned.
Never heard like (Radar, Freakshow or Piece Of Me) in Britney's first three albums, her voice might've been pimped but was never "robot-ised" like these song I mentioned.yeah, but those were dance songs and her computerized voice worked well with them. like i said, her voice was really processed on half of blackout, so i can see why people might not have liked it. but her voice has always been pretty robotic "oh baby baby."
i really hope that most of the songs on the album are like that LYRICALLY, it's great to have songs of Britney singing about how she feels towards the media, expressing her struggle and suffering instead of singing lyrics about being a sucker for sex.i agree. i'm sure there'll be a good mix of fun pop songs and personal songs... blackout was only released for the fans. she had written and recorded some deep songs for it but they didn't fit the vibe of the album.
Digital Spy UK "Circus" Album Review
Earlier today we were treated to a sneak preview of the new Britney album. Here's what we found:
# Circus is essentially a sequel to last year's Blackout album - it has the same fierce electro sound, but there's less vocoder on Britney's voice and the attitude-ometer's been turned up to at least 9.5.
# Circus also has something Blackout didn't: a proper ballad. "I know that we tried everything we could try, so let's just say goodbye forever," Britney sings on the really quite lovely 'Out From Under'.
# The title track is a prowling beast of a song whose chorus kicks off with a Max Martin-style thump. "I'm the ringleader, I call the shots, I'm a firecracker, I like it hot," Britney sings at one point. It's been confirmed as the next single and the video's already been shot.
# Britney's introduced as "our very own pop princess, now Queen of Pop" on 'Kill The Lights'. That's her off Madonna's Christmas card list then...
# The song itself is almost as knowing as Blackout's 'Piece Of Me', with Britney taking the paparazzi to task. "You don't like me, I don't like you," she tells them. "Only difference is you still listen, I don't have to."
# 'If U Seek Amy', on which Britney actually reunites with Max Martin, is 50% glam, 50% rave. The title has nothing to do with a certain Miss Winehouse and makes more sense if you say it quickly... just don't try it in polite company.

The Sun newspaper in the U.K preview about the song ''circus'':
The collection's title track "Circus" sees Brit morphing ever closer to Madonna. Circus has more than a passing resemblance to the industrial hip-hop-powered tracks on Hard Candy.
it's different from what digital spy said.
it's really weird and strange that the song described as madonna's hip hop tracks on hard candy in a review, and described as a Max Martin style in another review !! both are totally different styles.
i hope digital spy reviews are closer to the truth.

Alright then, due to 'overwhelming public demand' (ie a string of emails ranging from the polite to the downright offensive) here are some words about tracks from the Britney album.
'CIRCUS'
This is the title track. This means the song's called 'Circus', and it's from the album 'Circus'. "I run a tight ship," Britney announces, "so beware - I'm like the ringleader, I call the shots, I'm like a firecracker I make it hot, now put a show". What does this mean? Well, she is a ringleader on a ship - we presume this is something to do with a special circus on a cruise liner of some sort. Basically Britney is comparing herself to lots of things at the same time. Your English teacher will tell you this is a silly thing to do - but Britney is allowed to do it, because she is Britney. The track comes with massive thudding electronic R&B production and there's a lot of stopping and starting, including a a built-in MTV-style dance breakdown segment. The chorus lyric is "all eyes on me in the centre of the ring just like a circus" but the best bit's the bridge, with its "I feel the adrenaline moving through my veins, spotlight on me and I'm ready to break, I'm like a performer with this world as a stage" bit. There's all sorts of other stuff about "don't stand there watching me, following me, show me what you can do". Bits of it are a lot like 'Break The Ice' from the last album, but with an extra layer of Big Production.
OUT FROM UNDER
'Blackout' didn't have any big ballads so here is one for 'Circus'. It's incredibly similar to this version...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-6kf1UwXPQ
...of the song but with more guitar (weedy guitar, not big proper guitar). The production's a lot less sparse and a great deal more 'Britney ballad' (in the 'I'm Not A Girl Not Yet A Woman' tradition). Basically the most interesting thing about Britney's version that you can't hear on the Joanna Pacitti original is the finale, which ends with a great "from under, from under, from under" bit.
IF U SEEK AMY
This is the one people are excited about because the words "if you seek Amy" sound like "F-U-C-K me". After a "la la la la la la la la, la la la la la la la la" intro the song sort of throws itself into a ridiculous faux-lesbo 'romp' in which Britney looks for girl called Amy in a club ("oh baby baby have you seen Amy tonight, is she in the bathroom?"), can't find her while the club's closing, bangs on about "love me hate me, say what you want about me but all the boys and all the girls are ready to f-u-c-k me" and then goes bonkers over a lot over a thunderous Timbaland vs Scooter production job. There are some "ha ha he he ho ho ho" bits, a great whooshing noise into the final chorus and an overriding sense that this might be one of Britney's most ridiculous recordings to date.
'VERDICT': It's 'Blackout 2.0' - this is good news, 'Blackout' was a phenomenal album - but seems to include a lot of posturing and also seems to be quite gimmicky, which hopefully won't extend across the entire album. The inclusion of a song like 'Out From Under' suggests that this album, as a whole, might be a bridge between 'In The Zone' and 'Blackout', or at least a bridge between 'Blackout' and a next album more along the 'In The Zone' lines. That didn't make any sense at all, did it. Anyway if these are the very best songs on the album we're probably heading for a 7/10 sort of affair but it's hard to second guess a Britney album so what it will end up like is anybody's guess.
i'll be happy as long as it sounds NOTHING like p!nk or katy perry.
and out from under , I love it , altought the joanna version is more perfect , I love the brit voice .
and out from under , I love it , altought the joanna version is more perfect , I love the brit voice .
i think Britney's version is the more perfect , the guitar in the background in Britney's version make it sounds better, actually such this extra instrumentation in the ballads make it sound beautiful.
i think the argument when comparing the two versions will be about the voice, some people might think britney's voice is a bit weaker.
but for me Britney's version is perfect and her voice is good.
Seems like I'm gonna be original now.
I totally disagree that "If You Seek Amy" is best Max' track this yer, for me it's so much weaker than Max's stuf for Katy Perry, Pink and Lesley Roy, tune is weak, production is nice but it's not catchy at all and I can't even compare it with any previuous Max' single for Britney. Danja or Bloodshy & Avant could be authors of this song. "Circus" is nothing special too, I've expected much more from Dr. Luke. It's better than "Womanizer" but it's worse than "Gimme More". I either can't even compare it with awesome "Nothing in This World", "Girlfriend", "Runaway", "Hot" or "Keep Holding On".
Though before I'd say "Kill The Lights" is average song, I don't think it's worse than "Circus" and "If You Seek Amy".
However I love "Out From Under" and "Unusual You" - these songs are very beautiful and thanks God, I'll have something to listen on this album! However it's gonna be second Blackoutish average album :( I'll better be waiting for Kelly's album :'(

I think you must hear most the songs , if u seek amy is totally catchy , the intro is very so what , I have this melody in my head !!I'm listening to these songs already hour and still tunes of Circus and IUSA fall out of my head just after 5 minutes when I don't play it, though Kill The Lights and Out From Under stuck in my brain from the first listening.
I dont thinks it be second blackout , I enyoy with these songs and I want listen it again , it didnt happen with blackout .I agree that it's gonna be better than Blackout, most of Blackout was incredibly boring. But still I consider even songs in "My Prerogative" period much more interesting.
''if u seek amy'' is the best max martin song in years, his work with the singers you mentioned is a typical copy and predictable, the same rock style that exists everywhere, any other producer who make rock songs can be a producer for pink, lesley,or katy songs, nothing special, and in the rock world there are many better rock music than what max did for pink ,katy, lesely roy.Ok, and you consider "If you seek Amy" unpredictable? :) For me it's the sound that I've heard already on Blackout and the thing why I'm most disappointed and sad because I've expected something really different from all this stuff, probably different from all Max' stuff that we've heard before, I'm not stuck on Cheiron sound at all, but what I've heard is so typical Britney's stuff last few years, if someone would say that it's written by Danja or Bloodshy & Avant I wouldn't even check if it's not true.
about comparing'' if u seek amy'' with Max's previous songs for Britney, i have to say it's great, keeping in mind that the world of music has totally changed since six or seven years ago.Yes, but pop-music is still not killed and good developing tunes are still demanded, I Kissed a Girl and So What are proof of that.
i agree 100%.Seems like I'm gonna be original now.

''circus'' album can't be compared with ''blackout'', ''circus'' is so much better even if there are few similarities.
about ''circus'' song, it's a great song with that funky danceable beat, the chorus is amazing.
Thank's OUT
this song like to someone 'cos you know is written by max. But probably if the writer was danja......"YOUR COMMENT: WORST SONG OF THE YEAR" I'm sure of that.
If so what is boring.....BORING WHAT IS? ;D.....
OMG If U Seek Amy and Circus are greeeeeeeeat, well done choosing Circus as a second single, it's amazing, I literally loved the chorus!
Just like I thought she ruined Joana's master piece "Out From Under" for me
Circus - Is without a doubt My favorite From The samples the chorus is :o :o :o Perfect . Great Choice for 2nd Single
If You Seek Amy - Is really good song , a standout also , but I prefered Circus actually , but I wish this 3 single ;D
Out From Under - the song is Amazing , but not on britney ,Joanna is AMAZING PERFECT OUTSTANDING , but if I heared this before Jonnas I would call it great song
Unusual You - ??? ??? I really don't know what is this
I want hear if u seek amy and circus completes already , the max songs change so much when are completes , I hope here a counter melody as in so what .
''so what'' melody is repetitive and boring, especially on the verses, she keeps singing with the same melody as when she say na na na na , soooooo boring. If Pink would sing "la la la la la" like Britney in intro it would be much more interesting, right? ;D
OUT.....we can't expect Britney to do songs like katy, or pink , Britney is a funky dance beat pop singer, she need a danceable beats, not rock like pink or clown like katy lol, for me even Britney's non-max songs are better than pink and katy.Understand, Ahmed, I'm not speaking about rock-sound, I don't consider Pink and Katy rock-music - Hot'n'Cold and I Kissed a Girl are totally pop-songs, guitar in arrangement doesn't make song rock. I'm speaking about melodies and feeling of their developing. This is why I disliked a little "So What" from the beginning - monotony but there was strong Pink's voice to start feeling this song, IUSA is more monotonous but Brit hasn't as great vocal to change it. However I hope that I'll get this song better after listening some worse songs on this album, like I started to get "Kill The Lights" better today, lol.
OUT....you are sure that ''if u seek amy'' won't be a single because you hate it right? No :) Not because I hate it, I don't hate at all, I just can't understand Max' simplifying himself to get a place on Britney's album. I just don't see it as single stuff, however Britney allowed such a weak singles like "Break The Ice", "Piece Of Me" and "Womanizer" so actually we can expect absolutely anything from her now.
OMG If U Seek Amy and Circus are greeeeeeeeat, well done choosing Circus as a second single, it's amazing, I literally loved the chorus!
Just like I thought she ruined Joana's master piece "Out From Under" for me
Britney didn't ruin the song, the production in Britney's version is better and perfect, the guitar in Britney's version give the song better lovely emotional romantic taste.
Buona notte, and don't dream about sufficient things! Sogni d'oro! ;)Thank's for the goodnight....and yes i didn't dream sufficient things. :D

Ahmed, Ididn't really like Britney's version, and TBH she sings like a little baby girl, Joana's version is perfection, seriously!OMG If U Seek Amy and Circus are greeeeeeeeat, well done choosing Circus as a second single, it's amazing, I literally loved the chorus!

the success of ''i kissed a girl'' is NOT because it's a good pop song, it's because of the lyrics, it's obvious, that's why katy's whole album didn't do as good as the song on the chart, just checked billboard and found that her album made a peek only to #9,that doesn't mean pop is demanded in America.#9 is tooo high for the album that has only 3 great songs and few okayish, I don't see relation between album's success and singles' success. Let's better take a look on Hot'n'Cold sales when it will be released in Europe - it's already #1 in U.S. Billboard Pop 10, and can you explain its success by provocing lyrics again? ;) No, because, it's just qualitative very catchy pop-song with developing tune and Katy's nice voice.
i remember when ''i kissed a girl'' released and i listened to it on youtube, i found all the comments talking about the lyrics they didn't mention anything about the music.Seems like we have the same sitution with IUSA now, loads of buzz about the lyrics and then people speak about music ;)
Britney Version of Out From Under is Rip off of her song Someday I will understand , C'mon what the special in that production !!! :-\
i noticed that the number of the members on the forum is increasing these days, two or three new members everyday , i wonder if they are Britney fans and they searched with Max Martin name looking for information about ''if u seek amy'' and the search lead them to the forum, because the number of the new members never increased like that before.
And hey, Like I said guys Circus is a bit like Set It Off while If U Seek Amy's chorus is a bit like "Trash Me" from Jessie Malakouti's, but both songs are awesome, OMG I loved the lalalala, and the hahaheehoo thing
I know it's off topic but as you're talking about Trash Me, I wanted to know if that song had been released. I mean, it's only on Jessie's myspace but is there any mp3 around? Has anybody capped it? I'd just love to put it on my iPod. ;)
Ahmed, Ididn't really like Britney's version, and TBH she sings like a little baby girl, Joana's version is perfection, seriously!OMG If U Seek Amy and Circus are greeeeeeeeat, well done choosing Circus as a second single, it's amazing, I literally loved the chorus!

i already knew that there will be argument about Britney's voice, and yes she sings like a little baby girl, but i love it because it reminds me of her voice when she was a teenager, the young cute Britney :).
in general Britney's voice always sounds younger than her age , even when she speak , but i love it because it is full of femininity :), i know it doesn't necessarily make it a good voice in singing.
Sure, even bad quality is better than nothing! Thanks a bunch! :)ok , I'll send it to you today
Nice to hear If You Seek Amy is addictive! Hope it'll also become my drug! :D
Britney Version of Out From Under is Rip off of her song Someday I will understand , C'mon what the special in that production !!! :-\well, "someday" was never properly released... and it's a great song... so i can see why they'd try to go for that sound.
Ahmed, Ididn't really like Britney's version, and TBH she sings like a little baby girl, Joana's version is perfection, seriously!IS THIS THE FIRST TIME YOU'VE HEARD A BRITNEY TRACK? LMAO.
Guys a question for everyone
DO YOU REMEMBER THIS SONGS?
Baby one more time,Oops I did it again,Lucky,Stronger,Overprotected?
Ok,now think to If U seek Amy.....
Can be IUSA the best max work for brit?
Even born to make you happy is better than IUSA ;D
Well, the way she sings like a little girl in a first audition who doesn't know anything about singing, I hope I made it clear!Ahmed, Ididn't really like Britney's version, and TBH she sings like a little baby girl, Joana's version is perfection, seriously!IS THIS THE FIRST TIME YOU'VE HEARD A BRITNEY TRACK? Yes Ahmed but max said IUSA is His best work for britney......and i totally disagree with him!!!i don't think he ever said that.
He said that actually in an official statement that IUSA is his best work ever!Yes Ahmed but max said IUSA is His best work for britney......and i totally disagree with him!!!i don't think he ever said that.
can you post the statement please? along with a link?He said that actually in an official statement that IUSA is his best work ever!Yes Ahmed but max said IUSA is His best work for britney......and i totally disagree with him!!!i don't think he ever said that.
Max said this words and yeah this is an update sound but the song is average.
anyway, Starstruck, it was just a quote from a Jive rep:A rep for Jive Records has told us that accomplished song writer and producer, Max Martin’s song that he worked on for Britney’s new album “Circus” may be the best song he’s ever done in his career.
http://britneyspears.hollywood.com/2008/09/27/circus-to-feature-max-martins-best-song-hes-ever-done/
Yes we must be allowed to post snippets as they are on amazon and every single Britney fan site or forum.coolness. here's the looped version, it's really good: http://www.zshare.net/audio/51295421f681b131/
Max said this words and yeah this is an update sound but the song is average.
Alex, I'm disappointed by you... What is this word "average"?? Don't you know it spells "SUFFICIENT" here?
IUSA best song or not, I haven't listened to it but for sure nobody will ever agree on it, music is just about taste. But for sure, we'll never get anymore 1995-2000 pure bubbglegum anymore. Simply for the reason they wouldn't be successful nowadays and don't forget that Max and labels are first interested in 1 thing : MONEY!
AH AH AH no Sabine,SUFFICIENT is a word Exclusive for mr. Lundin ;)
I don't think Max is really interested in money (surely he would have more than enough now), interest in success perhaps?Well, he has a very pretigious reputation to keep and must do high quality songs to satisfy the labels' exigence. He must also charge a lot of money for his songs too and I think he really has to adapt to what the label and representatives ask him. Clearly he isn't 100% free in making the songs... So for those who blame him on the rude lyrics, I think he's not the main one responsible (not trying to defend him).
^ i doubt britney's label told max to write a song saying "fuck me" for her LOL
Oh my guys, look what I just found on a Britney forum: I can't believe a person claiming themselves as Britney fans can say that!
"I'm a big fan of Britney but I gotta say what I feel, and Circus sounds like oops i did it again... the old britney teen pop, stinkyyy... i hate that, she did a great album with BLACKOUT. Why reporters are saying Circus is the second part of Blackout? Circus and Blackout are not the same. I'm so dissapointed... hopelly in the next album she will make great music like in Blackout"
I must say: that's GREAT NEWS FOR US BABY!!!!!!! :D :D
as i look at Britney songs credits on her albums, i come up with that interesting fact about Britney and cherion producers.
Britney is the only singer in the world who worked with all the cherion producers.
Britney worked with Max Martin , Rami , Kristian Lundin , Andreas Carlsson , Jeorgen Elofsson , Per Magnusson , David Kreuger, Alexander Kronlund , Jake Shulz , Savan Kotecha, Shellback, even Dr.Luke is a Max Martin related name.
as a Britney fan, i'm proud of that, i'm happy she is an important part of cherion history , i'm happy she took songs from all the cherion producers.
Britney has more than 20 cherion songs.
This is how I want her singles to go:
1. Womanizer
2. Circus
3. Out From Under
4. If U Seek Amy
5. Kill The Lights
6. Shattered Glass
Well I would love for it to be the third single, but I just know Jive will do a ballad as the third because we haven't had one in what, 4 years? So I'm fine with OFU being third (because I love it so so much) and IUSA being fourth (it'll be all the better after a ballad, it'll reinvigorate the era). And I really hope KTL doesn't come out before IUSA, I like it and all but no. :PThis is how I want her singles to go:
1. Womanizer
2. Circus
3. Out From Under
4. If U Seek Amy
5. Kill The Lights
6. Shattered Glass
I'm surprised, thought you'd put If U Seek Amy at no.3 singles. though I wouldn't be surprised if Kill The Lights is the 3rd single.
About If You Seek Amy, there's a number of Britney fans on forum who claim that this shouldn't be a single due to the over provocative title... Do you agree? I certainly not! Provocation makes sell.....KATY PERRY!!!!!!! :Dwell "i kissed a girl" and "FUCK ME" are totally different. LOL.
i wish radio wasn't so against britney.
IUSA and CIRCUS are #1 smashes all the way, but i have a feeling they won't be getting as much love as pink and kelly clarkson's songs. so sad :(

I'm not worried for Britney, she has many more chances to get to #1! Look at Womanizer, i don't think the song is so great and look! ;)
I love britney , he looks very pretty with blondie hair :P

HE???? Britney is a guy? ;D
i can't believe her fans are against releasing the song as a single, they used to say that they didn't like Britney when she used to be shy, and they like her when she does sexy stuff !!! , now why they are against the song as a single ?! i swear this is the best SEXUAL Britney song ever.i don't think her fans are against it being a single, they just aren't sure whether radio would play it or not. they care about her success first and foremost so i can see why they'd be worried about that.

and the few people who don't like it, probably don't like her early music with max either. they think it's "cheesy" and not edgy enough.

hey starstrucks52, English is not my first language, can you please explain what (edgy) means in music ?! i always see that word in music articles but don't know what exactly means.
thanks :)

something new and exciting, that pushes the limits on a certain sound.
"toxic" is probably her most edgy song so far.
''if u seek amy'' can be listed in the category of this kind of songs, ''if u seek amy'' has a better melody and better production.i loveeeee IUSA, but i wouldn't call it edgy. the beat reminds me of rihanna's "don't stop the music" and it has hints of "so what." either way, i don't really care about what's edgy or not. i like what i like.
i LOVE ''if u seek amy'' , i believe it's much better than ''so what'' no matter what others say.
look at what this fan said on Britney.com :
''I'm very disapointed because I was looking for the sequel of Blackout and it's not...
It's a POP album in contradiction with Blackout which is electro-dance.
With blackout Britney b**** is gone.... now it's Britney Saint
I don't like her anymore''
reading such these comments make me happy , i have to tell that fan that i'm happy that he / she doesn't like her anymore lol.

yes , it is very sad , in the spanish forum of britney fans , there is a question about the favourite producter for the fans , the most of fans responded danja or bloodshy & avant , they are new britney fans that dont know the early days of britney and that without max britney wouldnt be who is now ...
Britney and Max Martin songs are legendary and part from history , it's like Beethoven music, William Shakespeare novels, Leonardo Davinci portraits .
britney gained a whole different audience during "in the zone" and "blackout." as i was saying before, her music was more "edgy" and she started taking more chances. that's why those people aren't embracing circus.
oh well though. she'll be gaining a shit load of her old fans back with this album. most people like "innocent" britney more than they like "sexy, party" britney.
Maybe it's also good that Britney has different styles, it allows her to be more popular and have even more fans. It's up to us classic old Britney fans to be contented on that album, after the disappontment of ITZ and Blackout...
yes , that's very sad, i can't understand how these people call themselves fans, sure they might be people liked Britney during ''in the zone'' sexual music era and became fans thinking that she will never release clean music again, i'm happy that they are disappointed and i get my beloved Britney back.

i was bummed when she dropped max after the "britney" album, but it had to happen or else she would've never been able to shake it up and take risks. she would've been stuck in a box. look at kelly clarkson and p!nk, they can't have a hit single without max or dr luke. britney can work with a variety of producers and still hold her own on the charts, plus it makes her more interesting as an artist.
that said, i'm so damn glad max is back and he didn't give her a p!nk reject. IUSA is amazing. i can't decide whether i love "circus" or "IUSA" more. they're both phenomenal. :D
Some more details on Britney's performance at Star Academy in France, the show where I'm very likely to go to! :D

Some new details on Britney's Star Academy performance in France have come to light!
Unfortunately, it's all in French. For all I know it could say "Jordan you're a d-bag and your site sucks." Lucky for us a fellow Britney fan has translated!
Nathalie Andre, a rep for Star Academy, says Britney and her team have been negotiating this performance since May - though confirmation was only announced just 2 weeks ago. And the staff is already gearing up for Britney's arrival! The crew is constantly rehearsing Britney's entrance, as well as beefing up security for that night's show.
Andre did reveal she fears a last minute cancellation (apparently Madonna was recently scheduled to perform on the show, then backed out last minute), but mentioned Britney, thus far, is "no diva."
On the show, Britney will reportedly have a small chat with contestants and answer a few questions from the show's host before her performance. The show will begin with segment about Britney's 10-year career, followed by her performance singing "Womanizer" which features her dancers and flashy pyrotechnics.
Basically, this performance is gonna be the shit!

that's her problem.. not ours haha ;D
do you think she can go and leave her kids in USA now ?! she is fighting in a custody battle with her ex-husband.she just spent a whole week with her boys in her hometown last week, i think kevin is going to keep the kids while she's promoting in europe. :)
I'm going to the show :D I Hope ! the tickets will be available next Friday !
u come with me Sabine? ;D
Man, just listened to "If You Seek Amy" over at youtube, after hearing an album medley...
Killer song! (and cleverly dicey lyrics ;-)
Max & Britney both back at their best!! It is a return to the pure-pop style of the old days (ie. no guitars), but also has the kick-ass gruntiness of the 2001-pop Max era (Overprotected/Cinderella/Tell Me, Tell Me... Baby)
Just a shame there's only Max Martin track on "Circus"... MORE PLEASE! :) :)
